Emmanuel van Vyve
Director Business Development - Elicio

Emmanuel has been active in the energy sector for over 20 years, with 10 years focused on renewables.

His areas of expertise are in the fields of project development and engineering, covering various renewable technologies, green hydrogen, and battery storage. He also has experience of the waste management industry, all of which gives him an inter-sectoral vision and multi-disciplinary development skills.

Emmanuel holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL).

Felipe Cornago Diufaín
Offshore Wind Commercial Director - BayWa r.e.

Felipe has 10 years´ experience in the offshore wind industry across a number of different geographies and markets, including Scotland, France, South Korea and Japan.

He has had the opportunity to lead offshore wind teams, holding a number of different roles, from business development to procurement  through to supply chain management.  He has also worked across both bottom-fixed and floating wind projects.

Felipe has an MBA from IESE Business School.

Guillaume Faure
Chief Finance Officer & EVP Co-Development - BW Ideol

Guillaume Faure joined BW Ideol in September 2024, building on extensive experience and in the European and US energy sectors.  He began his career at Euronext in 1992, before working on several IPOs and M&A transactions across Europe and the USA with Euronext and his own firm, Novafin.

From 2005, he worked for a number of European energy businesses, and later served as Deputy CFO of the Energy Sales Business Unit in France. After a period as CFO and board member of La Compagnie du Vent, he joined Lucia Holding in 2017 as CFO and Deputy CEO, contributing to the formation of Qair Group.  Before joining BW Ideol, Guillaume was working with French entrepreneur Denis Payre to develop hydropower storage projects in France and the USA.

Guillaume holds degrees in finance and marketing from SKEMA and a specialized Masters degree in capital markets finance.

 

Peter Goderis
Director of Engineering, Construction & Operations - Elicio

Peter has extensive know-how in project realization and supervision, both commercial and technical, with an 18-year career in the renewable energy sector.

His experience in civil & electrical engineering and acquisition and management of renewable biomass, solar, onshore and offshore projects is internationally recognised in the sector.

Peter has held the position of Director Engineering, Construction and Operations at Elicio since 2007 and represents Elicio as board member for the company’s current operational offshore wind portfolio which includes the Norther, Rentel and Seamade projects.

Paul de la Gueriviere
Chief Executive Officer - BW Ideol

Paul has more than 12 years' experience in developing and financing renewable energy projects all over the world, which has given him an intersectoral and international vision. He has also built up an extensive network of project developers, manufacturers and investors, in both developed and developing countries.

Prior to the foundation of BW Ideol, Paul was focused on developing new businesses in China and in the area of carbon finance.

Paul holds a Master of Science degree from the École des Ponts ParisTech.

Lorenzo Palombi
Global Director Wind Projects - BayWa r.e.

Lorenzo is responsible for both offshore and onshore wind projects at BayWa r.e. across the globe. Previously, he was the Director of the Wind Project Business Entity for BayWa r.e.’s EMEA region.

Lorenzo has over 25 years of experience of the renewables sector and has been with BayWa r.e. for more than 10 years. Prior to that, he was a founding partner of Hideal Partners, a spin-off of Babcock & Brown European infrastructure business, following 14 years at Babcock & Brown European infrastructure with increasing responsibilities in Italy and abroad.

Lorenzo is a qualified chartered accountant and has been a board member of the Italian Wind Energy Association for over 12 years.
